Nursery Program

Pear Tree Explorers’ Nursery Program offers a clean, warm, intimate and safe environment to provide the maximum experience for each and every one of our infants (ages six weeks to 24 months). Our milestone based curriculum offers fun activities for infants to develop cognitive, social-emotional, speech and language, fine and gross motor skills.

Our nursery offers an environment which is tailored to the individual needs of each infant. Whether your infant is breastfed or formula fed, when maintaining organization, we operate in a systematic function to be sure that all feeding materials remain sanitary, organized and are used and/or discarded within the required timeframe. Also, we place high importance on keeping all toys and materials sanitized daily. Infants dietary needs are set by the standard of their parents (or doctor’s orders when applicable).

In our nursery room, each infant’s diapers are changed every two hours beginning at 8:00am. If your child requires any special ointments, you can advise our staff so that we can be sure to apply them.

Up until your infant reaches the age of 6 months, your child will be sent home with a daily log which documents diaper changes, bottle times, feedings, nap times and developmental observations.

We like to provide photos for parents to see throughout the day to show all of the fun and developmental milestones each infant makes in their experience with us.
